Monday was the Martin Luther King holiday in the USA, which affected the opening of some establishments, as well as the inauguration of the new-old president. In the morning we went to the Red Rocks area for the famous amphitheater, which is the most traditional stop of any trip. This time I saw it for the first time in all these years in a different form - the red rocks were not visible at all, everything was covered with snow, there was a deep frost outside, there was no one anywhere, only us and the staff of the complex. We enjoyed the views and got back in the car. We spent some time in the town of Morrison and moved on to the second early game in a row, which started as early as 13:00 local time. It didn't turn out well for Colorado at all, at least we were pleased with the meetings with our American friends.
After the game, we went to the Czech hockey pub Sobo 151, where we met other longtime acquaintances and ended the day in a cigar club by watching the final game of the American college football league. Denver continues to be plagued by the coldest temperatures I have ever experienced here, it is not pleasant to be outside, the sun and no wind saves it anyway.
