Another game day yesterday. And we got to witness first hand the low attendance that everybody is talking about. The crowd was loud enough at times, but still... 11 200 people, 2nd lowest in the Avs history, as we found out. I don't want to be too harsh on people here, maybe they just don't love their hockey. But considering the money we spent to come here, we'd be getting season tickets easy. And I don't know about the rest of the boys, but I'm not the highest paid man in the world by far.

End of rant. Let's get to the game. Finally, I witnessed a live Avs win. And a sweet one! A double-double, with both Yip and O'Reilly scoring twice. O'Reilly went the fancy way and had two shorthanded goals, after a pretty long draught. Yip is not a surprise anymore, he's scoring regularly. But how about the man setting up everybody, T.J. Galiardi? Four assists in a game! I think he's channeling his inner Gretzky. The young dudes from the Avs are having an amazing year, too bad not enough people notice this.

A quieter night than usual for Stewart and Duchene, but everybody's allowed a night off from time to time, especially when you have a four goals win.

David was featured in an Altitude TV interview with Kyle Keefe and he was nervous like hell before. Because of some misunderstandings with the Pepsi Center security – which was actually a little old man, trying to look tougher than he was - I didn't get to witness it first hand, but I'm sure he did okay.

I almost forgot about the game day practice that we were fortunate enough to witness. You can see the fun the boys have on ice. They were coming after a three games losing streak, but boys will be boys... And Cody and Ryan can't stop teasing and mock-fighting each other. O'Reilly must a brave lad, to take on Cody. I had the chance to see McLeod up close and I can tell you that those were some of the biggest hands I have ever seen. When I asked him how is he doing, he said "working hard at it". The truth is that Cody is a hard-working player, the heart-and-soul kind that the team needed after they let Lappy go.

The Avs are going away for a few days and now they are 1-1 with me in the stands. I'm still in it! remember, I said 5-1, with three goals scored by Duchene. Dutchy is taking his time for now, but I still have time. Four games, three goals... It's doable. Come on, Matty !
