So NBA is not everybody's cup of tea. At least that's what we found out yesterday, when we went to the Nuggets-Kings game. Except for me, everybody was really bored, which is weird, considering it "was come from behind after being led by 16 points and win it in the overtime" kind of game for the Nuggets. Well, too bad for them, I had a blast. A Bulls fan myself, I really enjoyed seeing the Birdman on the court, but unfortunately Mello didn't play. And the crowd was really into it, more so than the day before, at the Avs game. That kinda hurt a little. And from what I heard, the lacrosse crowd is even louder. We'll see in a few days about that.

In hockey related activities we saw the Avs at their practice facility, located roughly about half way around the world from where we're staying. But you must take into consideration that we're staying so far from the downtown area that we're probably closer to the Maracana stadium than Pepsi Center. The boys practiced some drills and weren't very happy after three losses in a row. That didn't stop Cody McLeod to try to feed young O'Reilly his hockey stick. I don't think anything disrupts Cody's good mood. He's the opposite of the other tough middle weight in the team, Stewey. I guess Stewart is like the cartoon Indian with a cloud over his head. I wouldn't want to get that guy angry.

Today is the day that the Avs should turn things around. This is a long home stand, the Canucks are on a long road trip. So it's the perfect storm. I'm still standing by my prediction, on 5-1 record while I'm in town. And Dutchy will score three goals during that period.
