We arrived in New York at midnight on Sunday. We were at the hotel within half an hour. The weather is the warmest here, which pleased us. New York City is of course a big difference compared to Denver and Boston. A shock for those who are here for the first time. They could see it in the morning during a walk in Central Park. It is so big that there is no chance that we would have time to walk through it all. Its southern part alone was worth it. Beautiful views, nature, but also the famous bridge from the movie Home Alone 2.

From the park we walked towards Madison Square Garden. Along the way we saw many skyscrapers including Trump Tower, the Plaza Hotel. Rockefeller Center and Times Square. We could take pictures on every corner. Those who have not experienced NYC will not understand. Simply gorgeous and endless options for activities, shopping and food.

After arriving at MSG, we watched the Avs warm-up from up close. Commentator and friend of Eurolanche Marc Moser stopped by. Later during the game, he mentioned us directly during the live broadcast and showed us some of our photos from the trip. The game itself was so dramatic that some thought the Avs would lose the lead again. Finally, we saw the winning goal a few seconds before the end and after three losses, we finally got a win. The Avalanche defeated the Rangers for the second time during our trip.

After the game, we split into several groups and each organized a program according to their own needs, since starting Monday we will have a joint marathon of sightseeing in the top places in New York. There will be plenty of photos, including the next game against the Islanders.
