Tuesday we started with a short walk on 5th Avenue, where we saw the lobby of Trump Tower, which is strongly associated with the current US president, and we couldn't resist the New York hot dogs. Not far from the middle of Central Park, we visited a bar where they serve Coca-Cola in the old-fashioned style. Many of you have probably seen the video that made this place famous.
We went through Central Park to the American Museum of Natural History, which is one of the largest in the world. There you will find thousands of species of animals from all over the world, dinosaurs, a space section, exhibitions of different cultures, rocks, a meteorite, a cross-section of human kind evolution, a butterfly pavilion and much, much, much more. Some of us spent four hours inside - at a fast pace you could see everything.
This was followed by a 30-minute train ride to the USB Arena, which is located in the city of Elmont, about 30 kilometers from MSG. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere after getting off the train. We still had to walk all the way to the arena. With the eighth game of the trip, we tied the record from Eurolanche on Tour XIII. Unfortunately, the game itself ended unhappily for the Avs, although the overall impression was not bad - the offense was ineffective.
