Wednesday was our last full day in New York. It was also marked by a rich program. In the morning we visited the museum and memorial dedicated to the September 11 attacks. The exhibition was extensive, very interesting and sometimes moving. Americans managed to commemorate this tragic event professionally and with dignity. It is definitely something that everyone should see if they get to New York. Authentic pieces from both towers, but also private items of the victims... Emotion after emotion and the belief that something like this will never happen again.

After a short break for lunch, we concluded the sightseeing tour with a visit to the aircraft carrier USS Inteprid, whose journey ended in 1974. A huge colossus, it was hard to imagine that it could ever sail the oceans. A million rooms, different spaces, a ready-made maze and many interesting exhibits, including airplanes. The area is complemented by a Concorde plane and the USS Growler submarine, which served until 1964. Authentic experiences, but certainly exhausting in terms of knowledge and movement itself.

The rest of the day was dedicated to a free program. I personally managed to see the filming locations of the TV series Sex and the City and Ghostbusters, and later I walked around Times Square in the evening. On Thursday we have a demanding, travel day - we will return to Denver via Boston. Tour XV is far from over.
