The first full day in Colorado brought a trip to the Colorado Springs area. At the beginning, as part of Eurolanche for the first time, we got to the historical museum with historical buildings, which showed us how life was lived in the Wild West not so long ago. Along the way, we managed to take pictures of the local nature and scenery, which is the most exciting for those who come to Colorado for the first time. We had lunch at In-N-Out Burger.

Lunch was followed by a walk in the Garden of Gods rock park on a sunny and warm day that in some places resembled the beginning of summer. So is Colorado, where there are more than 300 sunny days a year. In the immediate vicinity, another premiere followed - a walk around the pretty town of Manitou Springs with a tasting of local mineral springs, as if we were somewhere at home in Slovakia or the Czech Republic. Some even managed to make their first purchases in outlets, they gave their credit cards a run for their money.

The evening belonged to the NBA game between the Denver Nuggets and the Houston Rockets - that is, for a minority of us. Most of them dispersed to dinners, bars or cigar clubs.

For the first time as part of the Tour, we are staying right in the center of Denver, which brings both advantages and disadvantages. The main problem is probably parking, as it is a little further from the hotel, but it is a different experience to be in the center like this than elsewhere. Although Denver is a calm, quiet city in the evening, especially on weekdays.
