Saturday's pre-game program consisted of shopping at Walmart and the liquor store in the morning hours, where I guess there were a thousand different kinds, since in the USA only special stores are reserved for alcohol. Walmart offered an American classic, a kind of stereotype that tourists appreciate but locals don't.

This was followed by a win over Dallas and meetings with Eurolanche friends during breaks. Josef, Marie, Tim and Stephany support the fan club for a long time and we are very happy for that. The game brought many goals and a well-deserved win.

After the game, we came home to Ken and his family, where he invited us for the third time in a row. Steak was served as the main course, but both the appetizer and dessert were fantastic. We thank Ken and his family - and as we say to him, we really look forward to seeing him in Europe. At Ken, there was the traditional signing of the Avalanche flag by Eurolanche members and friendly dogs straight from Australia.

The day ended with a visit to the Ballmer Peak Distillery bar, which is also a distillery, a small production of Colorado alcohol. Ken and I celebrated our next meeting, bought something to take home, and in snowy Denver, where the temperature reached deep minus values, we laid down to sleep. We still managed a private tour at the distillery at the end.
