We started Wednesday morning with a rest after the previous, demanding day of a full-day trip, from which I recommend you to look at our daily updated photo gallery. The first activity on the agenda was souvenir shopping. We stopped at the team stores of the Denver Broncos and the Colorado Rockies in succession, ending at Bill's.
For lunch, we moved to the nice town of Idaho Springs, the center of which we had time to see. We were taken care of by a local pizzeria, Beau Jo's, which bakes real, Colorado pizza. We ate royally and for several of us it was the best culinary experience of the trip so far.
On the way back to Denver we stopped at the museum and the grave of the legend Buffalo Bill, some took a tour, we all enjoyed the views of Denver and the surrounding area.
The day passed very quickly, in the evening we had the fifth game, which ended in an unfortunate loss after extra time. It was my 100th Colorado Avalanche game, which I will write a separate article about. Our mood was improved by the break meetings with our American supporters, whom we greatly appreciate and thank for their support.
