On Sunday we made a road trip within Colorado we had never done before. There is still something new to explore even after so many years. We left Denver for one hour ride to Fort Collins, north of the capital. We had to use a fact there are many microbreweries, probably the most in the entire country on per capita. A short stop at the German beergarden was refreshing. Josh, our supporter and long time follower met us for the first time there. Before this, we had a quick stop for a group photo in front of the Colorado Eagles arena in Loveland.
Our journey continued for two hours west to small town of Walden, where only around 500 people live. On a way there, we could see a colorful Colorado nature - a snow on the left side, red rocks on the right side. Later, the entire country disappeared under snow as we were driving higher and higher.
In Walden, we could see a classic US small town with nice architecture and kind of loneliness too. After great, but little bit spicy lunch we drove for more than 3 hours to Denver. At one point, we were the only car on a road miles around. It was mine hardest driving in Colorado as almost entire road back home was snowing. We were lucky to arrive back safely.
