After that drive and not being able to check into the motel till around 3am we decide to take full advantage of the 11am check out before we all go back out on the road to complete the next 4 hour drive which will see us get to Nashville in time for the 4pm face off.

Because of this and the rain we don't really have a lot of time to explore the city and decide it's best just to head into the arena and out of the rain.

Once again the Avs exceed expectations and surprise us all with a 5-0 win with goals coming from MacKinnon (2) Kerfoot, Landeskog and Zadorov. Standout performance though came from the man between the pipes as Philip Grubauer stops all 38 shots he faced and came away with the shutout.

Due to Every one in the arena receiving alerts about severe weather warnings ranging from flash floods to thunderstorms and even tornado warnings it's decided that a quick dinner and straight to the hotel is the best course of action. Unfortunately that me and we spent next to no time in the city but still came away happy with the big road win and the performance. Overall my individual record now stands at 4-4 and 4-2 on this invasion.

Bring on the Panthers on Monday, we want more points.
