Today we woke up to discover that the weather was a lot more co-operative and the rain and flooding had gone away. As a result it meant that we could take the tour of the Jack Daniel's distillery.
The tour its self was pretty cool and finding out about the charcoal process and how all the water came from a spring which was under a cave on the site. But of course the main attraction was the sampling of the 5 different versions of Jack Daniels and for some the 6th, provided that they hadn't finished samples 4 and 5.
Once the tour was done it was time to begin our 9 and a half hour drive back to Chicago for a quick nap before returning our hire car and catch a flight back to Denver.
