Saturday brought another new and unique part of the Eurolanche Invasion X that wasn't included in any of the other past Invasions - new driving route in the Rocky Mountains. However, some of the listed places below were visited by some past Invasions participants, but the route itself was new addition. We started our journey in Denver, went thru Georgetown, Silverthone, a famous winter resort Vail, Leadville, Buena Vista, saw South Park location in Fairplay, visited the the highest incorporated municipality in the United States with permanent residents - Alma (10,578 feet or 3,224 m) and then came back to Denver after 310 miles/500 kms. We could seen on the route the most highest peaks in the Colorado state. A nature was combined with the peaks covered by snow and the never ending plains. The weather was beautiful again.
