Monday was a beautiful and super successful day to our group. It was hot and sunny since early morning, so we could wear only tshirts and jerseys. Everyone loves Denver for this weather. We are so happy not to be in Central Europe right now where people are freezing in one of the coldest temperatures over the decades.

We went to Pepsi Center in the morning, where we took many photos outside this beautiful building. Unlimited shopping at the Altitude Authentic store followed. You could watch a video from the store on our social networks. There is literally everything with the Avalanche logo on - tshirts, pants, caps, hats, pins, pens, pencils, glasses, jerseys, mini hockey sticks, pucks, wallets, stickers, flags, baskets... Again, we had a 30 % discount in the store thanks to its great manager. It was really helpful to us! Thank you very much Gabe!!! Later, our shopping madness continued at one special store for sports collectors, where you can find really anything valuable.

On Monday, we had also a VIP tour of the Denver Police Department. The local police will establish its museum in couple of years, but we had a chance to see the first historical items now. Our guide, Captain Nagle, showed us super nice Denver police cars as well. We visited a surveillance department too, called HALO. The most exciting part of our visit was a gun fire training on the special software.

The game 1 was amazing. The Avalanche finally won after we watched 7 losses at the past Invasion. It was their first win since the Eurolanche Invasion VIII in 2016. After the game, we met with the Avs players including Landeskog and MacKinnon - both we missed last year as well. What a GREAT day it was!
