Our Wednesday began with a trip to a city of Loveland, north of Denver. The Colorado Eagles play their hockey games there. They are the Avalanche's second affiliate, playing in the ECHL, whose championship they won in the past season and have good chances in this current season as well. From the next season, the Eagles will become Avs' main affiliate and will be moved to the AHL. That's the main reason why it was really important to start a mutual contact and relationship between Eurolanche and Eagles. We visited their arena where we could see their practice, locker rooms and other interesting things. This whole thing was prepared by Kevin McGlue from the Eagles organization and I would like to thank him again for amazing job and experience. Moreover, we took photos with the Eagles coach, on the Eagles ice and with Ben Storm, an Avalanche draftee. We are thrilled for the further cooperation as we will definitely visit their AHL games at the next Eurolanche Invasions. Unfortunately, in this season Avs and Eagles games collide.

Our next plan included visits to two places we had never visited before that is a great evidence how unique is every Invasion and that there is still a lot of stuff and activities which we have never did in the past ten years. We had a tour at the Denver Mint, one of six locations in the US (no photography allowed) and at the musem of Denver firefighters - check our updated photo gallery.

The Avalanche game and their second win at the Invasion X followed. We met with Altitude TV's Lauren Gardner who later during the game mentioned Eurolanche, talked about us and even showed our book on camera. We will talk later about this amazing moment in our history.
