Eurolanche Invasion IX crew in the early morning of European time on January 12 at the airport near Vienna, Austria. The journey could begin. After unsual heavy snowing in that region, we were happy our first flight to London was not delayed. In comparison with the past, we did not have to wait three and more hours in London after the first, non-problem almost 3-hour flight. The British Airways has ordered earlier departure of the connecting flight to Denver, so we went just from gate to the gate. It took almost 10 hours in the big Jumbo Jet when we finally land in Denver at 2:30 pm local time; after in total 20 hours of journey. Some of us traveled even longer as they had to firstly get to the Vienna airport and not everyone live in the area. The fast process continued at the Denver International Airport.

After 90 minutes of the landing, we had already rented mini van for 12 persons and were driving directly to the Pepsi Center. I can't speak for everybody, but the excitement was seen on most of guys as everyone except me are here for the first time. Our group was warmly welcomed by Lauren Gardner and Peter McNabb from Altitude TV. We met several friends from the past Invasions and make new friendships as well. Many local fans recognized us and sent us greetings on Twitter. After our appearance at the big jumbotron during the warm ups we were ready to watch the game behind one of the nets.

The final score did not make us happy, but overally everyone was happy for just be in Denver. You have to realize many of our guys were dreaming about this trip for years. They wanted to watch the Avalanche even before the Eurolanche was founded. Now, they dreams come true.

After the game, we drove straightly to our hotel because our total time of without a regular sleep had reached 26th hour mark. We are staing in Lakewood that is not so far from the Pepsi Center.
