Today we started with a trip to Wal-Mart to pick up on essentials we may need, me for instance need a belt as the one I brought with me sets off every metal detector in the Pepsi centre and airports.

The game today was a 1pm face off which for me felt strange but apparently everyone and even locals felt the same so I guess it wasn't too bad. After we arrived at the Pepsi centre and got out tickets we headed in to watch warm ups but first a photo with Lauren Gardner and other Altitude sports presenters.

Once that was over we split into groups to find our seats. Me and Norbert were in the standing area while the rest of the guys were in the upper bowl. After the first period where the Avs struggled after a bright start the game is ties 0-0. A guy who noticed that me and Norbert have been standing offers us his tickets which he can't use so we get to move to 14 rows from front so a massive thank you to that guy.

Unfortunately the rest of the game doesn't go well and St Louis win 3-0 with all goals coming in the final period.

After the game and a quick lunch we got a bus to 16th street to visit the state capital building and the step which proclaimes we are exactly one mile above sea level.

On the way back to the arena to pick up the car everyone gets a chance to go souvenir shopping. Afterwards we head to Sobo 101, a Czech restaurant for dinner and back to the hotel. A 7am start tomorrow as it's a trip to see the Rockies.
