After the events of yesterday we all decided to spent today in downtown Denver and go shopping at the Avalanche store and also souvenir shopping. Also the opportunity to go see Broncos stadium was another cool experience. As was the trip to Bills sports collectables.

Then at 7pm it was time to go see the Avalanche play the Golden Knights. I was quietly feeling quite confident about the game as for 2 periods on Saturday i didn't think Colorado had played too badly and I wanted to see a reaction.

Turns out my feeling was right as Avs came away with a 3-0 win so i was happy and also relieved I had finally seen the Avs win for the first time for the first time after seeing 4 losses, 2 on this trip and 2 in Stockholm. Only disappointment was not getting to see Marc Andre Fluery play as Vegas elected to play Malcolm Subban.

One good thing was that David arranged for us to meet Pavel Francouz and Martin Kaut during the second intermission.
