We started Thursday by an unplanned visit of the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, Ohio. We were just driving to Columbus when we noticed info boards about directions to the museum. Unfortunately, we had only one hour to explore the big museum with almost 400 aircrafts that wasn't really much time. We just can't afford to spend more hours inside the buildings, museums or at any other different attractions. It would be too luxury for our two-week schedule when some of us may never return to the US. Anyway, we enjoyed the museum and its exhibits which shows planes from the early days of 20th century thru both World Wars up until modern and space technologies. One of the most valuable item is an old presidential plane. John F. Kennedy was flying with this same plane on his last journey to Dallas and his body was transferred onboard too. Moreover, ce President Johnson was sworn in as president aboard it shortly after the assassination.

Afterwards we were driving for one more hour to Columbus, Ohio right to the hotel where the Avalanche players stayed. At least we took a group photo with Landeskog and presented him with the Eurolanche book. Next couple of hours was about a tour in Downtown. We couldn't be outside for longer time as it was really, really freezing and windy. Our 6th game of this trip was schedule for the evening and it was a third straight overtime loss to Avalanche. I have to say the Nationwide Arena is the most beautiful arena outside Denver I have seen. I visited arenas in Chicago, Minnesota, San Jose and Anaheim besides that. They have even own practice rink in the arena there.

After the game we moved closer to Cincinnati, where we stayed for one night before we would explore this city and come back to Chicago for our flight back to Denver.
