Our first visit to the Avalanche practice in the Family Sports Center was scheduled on Friday. It is 25 minutes driving of Pepsi Center and it is located in a very nice area with god course and great view of the mountains. Av have practices there on non gamedays (sometimes they have a rest). All fans may visit this practice free of charge. The practice started at 11:00 am, but some players had been on the ice already, little bit earlier. As every Invasion, we showed the flags of the countries that are represented by the Invasion VIII members there so all the players could see them from the ice. It has been always great self presentation as it is impossible to get their attention during the games in Pepsi Center with thousands of fans around.

We were waiting on the players in front of the arena after the practice. Most of them stopped their cars, gave us signatures and took the pictures. More about these meetings is available in the extended online coverage at StadiumSeries.Eurolanche.com.

Then we went to a restaurant Country Buffet - all you can eat for only around 10 dollars. We found out about this place at the last Invasion and it has become must-visit food place since then. After we had like 6-7 courses each, we went to shopping in nearby Walmart. Later, some of our group visited the NBA game and University of Denver game respectively.
