We visited our fifth Avalanche game in Denver, the third in Pepsi Center. It started at 1 pm local time, so there was not a space for the morning activities. The game itself was a military appreciation to the US army. There were many ongoing military activities like for example the Avs players wore special army camouflage jerseys, military vehicles were displayed in front of Pepsi Center and there were continuos dedications to the US army during the game. A crow were filled by more fans than in the past games as this one was played early and on the weekend. It is shame how the game ended by score. After that, a photo taken by us has started to spread on the internet. It shows Joe Sakic's sad face after third and game winning goal by Nashville.
After the end of the game we went back to our hotel and some of us ate at nearby restaurant where they served fabulous cakes. Then our day continued with a visit to the lacrosse game of a local team called Colorado Mammoth. Some of our members went for the ECHL hockey game of Colorado Eagles.
Today, on Sunday, a full day trip to Rocky Mountain National Park is scheduled. It may tops all previous trips with great sightseeing of a nature.
