Where to start? Denver is amazing place and 9 members who are here for the first have realized it yet, We woke up at 7 am in the morning. Jet lag still works. No, I am writing this piece in the evening but I am so tired like it would be a deep night. It is absolutely worth to be up early. Mornings are beautiful, a weather as well Sun is shining, short sleeves t-shirt are good choice. It is really true when they say Denver has more than 300 sunny days per year.
Originally we wanted to visit Rocky Mountain National Park on Thursday, but we have decided to move it for another days as most of us wanted to spend first one on the souvenirs asap. So we left for Wall Mart and official team store in Pepsi Center at 9 am. Eurolanche got a special discount as it has become very popular and respected brand in Colorado. There were hundreds of souvenirs kinds and hundreds of dollars spend by one person. T-shirts, pajamas, hockey pucks, pins... anything with Avs logo.
We spent two hours in the Avalanche store and then continue at two other places including Denver Broncos' shop. The first store offered thousands of sports merchandise from signed hockey sticks to small stickers, We bought there around 75 small Avs logo magnets and have placed them to our mini van, It is worth to look at this picture in our updated photo gallery,
The second part of the day as about waiting on the Alumni Game players in front of the hotel. We had a chance to get signatures from and take photos with Mike Ricci, Milan Hejduk, Shjon Podein and Adam Foote.
Eurolanche reached one of its biggest top moments in the history when the official NHL website NHL.com published a story about the Eurolanche Invasion VIII, Read the full story at: https://www.nhl.com/news/colorado-avalanche-european-fan-club/c-279146908?tid=278542160
We will visit Alumni Game tomorrow and will try to meet more Avs players. We are also working on improvements in our online coverage that includes live broadcasting via Periscope app.
