Finally it came - a day that all the fans had been waiting for months. Alumni Game. The game of the biggest Colorado Avalanche superstars. Last game of this generation against the Detroit Red Wings with their own hockey class.

We spent a morning by waiting on the Alumni Game players like previous days. We could meet Mike Keane, Curtis Leschyshyn and Sandis Ozolinsh. Then we went to the Coors Field stadium where many activities were available to the fans. Well organized event that may become an inspiration for European sports market.

All of our 12 members sit together during the game so we literally almost covered one full row. Eurolanche Invasion! I still remember how hard it was to get tickets for this game. It is hard to describe on such small space what all happened in Denver on Friday. We met our childhood idols. Nobody believed it could happen after their retirements of the NHL.
