First full day in Denver had started by visiting of two hockey shops in the town. Firstly, we did shopping in the official Avalanche store and spent hundreds of dollars. Fortunately, we did not do the same mistake again like the previous Invasion – we have not spent most amount of our money. The store offered some new merchandise as for example crazy hat with the dog face on your head or generally new kinds of t-t-shirts including Nordiques theme.

In the afternoon, I and Matej showed to rest of the guys Dowtown for the first time in their life. Meanwhile, we ate a lot of American food. Shopping was mixing with eating and vice versa. The classic Invasion, you know.

Finally, in the evening we saw the first game of the trip. Avs had not good start, but could score five consecutive goals and won the big game against the strongest NHL team. We were interviewed during the second intermission and the video was appearing on the jumbotron live. Check the homepage of the Invasion website for more information. At the end, it was very nice to meet again our old friends from the previous Invasion and got to know new one. Many local Avs fans greeted us inside the stadium. We were going to sleep with the very nice feelings. We love Denver. – by David
