Saturday. First full day in Denver. After great FREE breakfest we went to the Downtown, famous 16th street. We found directly bus connection for only 2 dollars. Next few hours we spent by walking and buying Denver´s souvenirs. We wanted to buy american call cards to our mobile phones because one guy at AT&T mobile shop thought that one minute of call to the "Sluvakia" costs 19 cents. Of course, it was more than 2 dollars, so we did not buy it. Later we moved to the Pepsi Center, for the first time in this Invasion where we were watching lacross game. Again like last year, it was more show like a game. But our show started after this one. We lost in Downtown and could not find our bus stop. We had to use light rail and then go to the some bus line. This crazy day finished a few minutes before the midnight. Tomorrow we are going to one youth game to meet Joe Sakic and on the evening to watch Colorado game against New York Rangers. Btw. Robert from Romania arrived to motel tonight. Norbert and Tina from Austria can not fly from New York because of storm, so they will come to Denver on Sunday´s morning.

Few words from Robert: Three planes, two delays, two taxi rides and 26 hours after leaving home I finally reached the hotel in Denver. It seems I was lucky enough, our Austrian friends, that were coming just a few hours after me, were snowed in on the Newark airport. Of course, nothing much happened; I just found out that the Avalanche lost against the Stars. But now I'm here and I'll be kind enough to spread my luck around. Rest assured Avs fans! I predict five wins out of the next six games. Yes, you can thank me later for that. My first Avalanche game tomorrow, against Rangers, I'm pretty excited, I can tell you that. But more on my boy, Duchene, and the rest of the Avs, tomorrow.
