Coming back from the game and a few beer in a pub, we have nothing to cheer for after game. Colorado lost the game against the Leafs 7-4. The game was a up and down all the three periods. Decided was the game by referree Dan Koharski. With 15 minutes in the last period at 5-4 trailing, Milan Hejduk scored his third goal of the game...hattrick. everybody was cheering and the hats were flying on the ice. But the referree decided to penalize Ryan Smyth because of Goaltender-interference, although he touched the goalie just a little bit AFTER the puck went in to the net. Additionally he touched Toskala OUTSIDE the crease, where goaltender inteference is not possible. With this goal, the game would be 5-5 fifteen minutes remaining and maybe it would have ended the other way round. Nevertheless, the Avs played not their best game. Offensively, they were really good, but on defense and goaltender-position they had a lot of problems tonight. Looks like that Peter Budaj will get the next start on Saturday against the Anaheim Ducks. Hopefully that will help for the first win in the second invasion. By the way: the other two Invasion-members have already landed in Denver 6 hours ago. Tomorrow is the first official meeting. So the REAL invasion starts tomorrow!! So stay tuned for more coverage tomorrow!
