On Wednesday, we drove for slightly more than hour to Fairplay, a small town. On a way there, we were amazed by the Colorado nature and mainly views on the Rocky Mountains. At the place, we went to some of us well-known shop with the South Park series merchandise. Our next stop was a neighborhood town, Alma, the highest incorporated town in North America with an elevation of XXX XXX. Then we were driving thru the famous winter resort Breckenridge and very nice Georgetown in order to come back to Denver.

Jake Schroeder, the national anthem singer and our great friend, had joined us for a dinner. He took a 2001 Stanley Cup ring with him. We will take a look back in details on this ring in a separate story at eurolanche.com soon.

In the evening, we watched the Game 5 against the Islanders, when the Avs finally won. After that, we were in hurry to come back to our hotel as we have to get up at 4 am the next morning for a flight to Los Angeles.
