Friday in Denver was one of the top days here so far. We finally visited our first practice of Invasion VI in Family Sports Center. As I have had my luggage back for some days yet, we could take Eurolanche flags with us and of course flags of our European countries. We placed them there so all Avalanche players, mainly the first-year men and the newcomers, could recognize us. The practice was perfect as I could make a pictures right near the glass. Be sure to not miss our updated photo gallery at Invasion.Eurolanche.com. You should see there dozens of new photos every day.
We were in hurry after the practice as we were heading for the very special meeting with the former Avalanche enforcer Scott Parker. He has retired of hockey yet, but he is still in the touch with bunch of current and former Avs players. He owns a barber shop in Castle Rock near to Denver; to be concrete it is called Lucky Social Club 27. Scott´s son welcomed us very warmly and did a little tour of the barber shop that is a little dedication to Parker´s career too. Scott was very nice to us, answered all of our questions, took photos with each of us separately and gave his signatures on our merchandise. Meanwhile, Ryan Wilson arrived too, so it was a great timing. You will be able to read more about our feelings of great Scott soon with photos and video too of course.
We already published a new video – the interview with us that was did live in Pepsi Center. Video is available as one of the main stories at Eurolanche.com. - David
