It looked like the Avs were going to make a big turnaround after the second period of the game with Minnesota Wild. But not. Poor defensive plays caused the third loss in a row. I was really upset and did not event cheer for the Avalanche goals. Yes, there was probably a little hope in the middle frame, but I still did not believe they could make it. It was just another bad Avalanche hockey and I am really sad. What else should I add?

Saturday in Denver was mainly about St. Patrick´s weekend. It is a crazy time here. Streets, roads and pubs are full of people. It is hard to get anywhere on time. You are not in if you have not something in green color with you. I am actually wondering how many celebrating people have Irish roots and how many of them take seriously this weekend. Anyway, it is a good day and occasion to meet with friends and just celebrate. Even if you are not Irish.

We watched another non-Colorado Avalanche event. After NBA, we visited NLL – lacrosse game of the local Colorado Mammoth. From my previous experience I know it is not kind of classic sports game, it is mainly about the crazy show for crazy American fans. Do not take it offensively, my friends. It is just a big show for me. I liked it.

After loooong drive to/from Minnesota, we will continue in the trips on Sunday. Now, we are going to visit city of Idaho Springs and do there a lot of activities (mine tour etc). Before it, we will visit our second and the last Avalanche practice of the Invasion V after which we are supposed to meet with Jan Hejda. - by David
